Suitcase Fusion 7 interface

My husband wrote a helpful review of Extensis' just-released font management utility Suitcase Fusion 7 at Macworld/PC World. The two new important features are an auto-activation plug-in for Adobe After Effects, and a TypeSync feature that synchronizes your font library on two computers. Many designers are using After Effects to create animated text and will appreciate this new plug-in.

With tens of thousands of fonts in circulation, it’s tough to identify a specific font from memory, when you see it. Fortunately, you don’t have to—there are free websites, and an iOS app, that can identify font samples for you on the fly. The process is easy and a whole lot of fun.
From a printed sample
