New Photoshop Elements Video Training

November 25, 2009 by
Elements 8 for Digital Photographers just released!

I just love Photoshop Elements so when my friends at KelbyTraining.com asked me to do a new training title for digital photographers, I leapt at the chance (now you know what I've been up lately!). It's an amazingly powerful program at an equally amazing price! In fact, Mac users can get Elements 8 for $59.99 as Adobe is offering an instant discount and mail-in rebate. PC users can also get Elements for $59.99, though it's a different link. Both deals are good through Nov. 30.

Back to the new training, in this 26-movie course, I guide you through everything you need to know about editing non-destructively in the new version, Elements 8 (see the screen shot above for a sampling of movie titles and length). Whether you're a beginner or a Elements pro, you'll learn practical editing techniques you'll use every day, such as how to adjust images in Adobe Camera Raw, Elements' QuickEdit mode, and three ways to use Levels in Full Edit mode. You'll learn how to retouch portraits like a pro, how to selectively lighten/darken or soften/sharpen images, how to create beautiful color effects, interesting collages, Panoramas, and more. Discover how to easily remove unwanted bits from your images, resize with Recompose, and how to master resolution so your prints always look their very best!

You can access this training, along with a slew of other titles from the best teachers on the planet, for $24.95/month or $199/year ($19.95/mo and $179/year for NAPP members). Click here to see a few sample movies before buying yourself -- or a loved one! -- a subscription. What a great holiday gift idea!

(And speaking of the holidays, if you're doing any shopping on Amazon, you can get to their site via my Amazon Pick of the Week link on the righthand sidebar of this page. If you do, I get a tiny little kickback on your purchase, even if you don't buy my recommended item :D)

I hope you enjoy watching the movies half as much as I enjoyed making them!
