I'm thrilled to be headed back to the creativeLIVE studios in Seattle for three FREE online workshops on Nov. 19, 20, 21. As always, these classes are 100% free while they're live, though they are available as videos after the class for a ridiculously affordable price. You can also ask questions via the Internet, while the class is live.
On Nov. 19, we'll focus on Adobe Bridge. This full-day, online Deep Dive takes you into the organizational power of Bridge so you can find files faster than ever before, and focuses on topics that are useful for both designers and photographers. You'll learn how to filter and rate your images, add keywords and other metadata, use collections, rename multiple files, create contact sheets, web galleries, interactive PDFs, and more! You'll also learn how to use Bridge in conjunction with other Creative Suite applications, import and review photos from your digital camera, and apply edits made in Camera Raw. If you have Photoshop, you have Bridge, and you won't believe how useful it is. http://lesa.in/1xGGJ7I
On Nov. 20, we'll focus on Photoshop's blend modes (though they're nearly the same blend modes that are available in Elements, too). In this class you'll learn everything you need to know in order to use them to combine images, remove backgrounds, and more. You'll learn the differences between each mode as well as practical uses of each and every one of 'em. You'll also learn how to use them in conjunction with filters, layer styles, and Photoshop's painting tools. http://lesa.in/1pEf02T
On Nov. 21, we'll switch gears and focus on creating amazing photo gifts for your family, friends, and clients! I'll show you how to create beautiful gifts of all types: calendars, stamps, pillows, magnets, puzzles, playing cards, and many more that you can give to those you care about. As photographers we create beautiful photos, and the memories those photos bring back can make wonderful gifts. I'll show you how to make the most of your photos in the holiday season using a variety of software as well as printing resources. We'll even throw in a few do-it-yourself projects, too. http://lesa.in/1jjzqsN
